
Ioannis Solomakos
Ioannis has more than 20 years of professional experience in the field of corporate security in multinational companies, where he served in positions of high responsibility.
Currently, Ioannis serves as Huawei’s Chief Security Officer in the Southern Balkans region, responsible for cybersecurity and privacy aspects for 5 countries (Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Albania and North Macedonia).
Previously, Ioannis has served as Chief Security Officer for OTE Group, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (heading, among others, all security aspects of the landmark project – SNF Cultural Center) and PRAXIA Bank.
He has also served in positions of responsibility at Ericsson, Intrasoft International and Ingersoll Rand.
Ioannis holds an MBA from the University of Bradford Management School and a BSc from the American College of Greece.
